Start and start times

• When you register online, you select the starting slot according to your personal preference and availability.
• The starting slots are not categorised according to performance .
• There are the same conditions in every starting slot. For your own performance it does not matter in which starting slot you start.
• First come, first served.

Are you one of thefastest runners or do you want to compete for the day's victory ? Then you can apply for a starting place in the performance starting slot.

To do this, we need proof of your performance over the last three years, which you must upload during the registration process.

Step 1: Admission to the separate start area

• Admission is timed for each start slot and can be seen on the back of your race number.
• Volunteers and boards at the entrance indicate which start slots are currently authorised to enter the start area.
• Please note: There are no advantages to queuing early at the entrance.

Step 2: Lining up in your personal start slot A to U

• Signalling boards mark the assembly point of your start slot.
• Go to the corresponding start slot with your letter printed on the front of your start number. Boarding in your slot will be controlled.
• It is possible to enter your start slot until the start time of the respective start slot. After that, access will be closed.
• Late entrants must start in one of the subsequent start slots.

Step 3: Start

• The individual start slots are sent out onto the course on time .
• Your personal time will only be counted when you cross the timing mat (= net time).
• Your start time is clearly printed on the bottom left of your race number.
• As soon as the front starting slot has started, the runners in the next starting slot will make their way to the starting line.
• Late starters must start in one of the following start slots.

Important

• Would you like to run together with someone who is not allocated to the same start slot? This is possible if the person who is allocated to the earlier start slot moves to the back of the colleague's start slot. It is always possible to start in a later start slot than allocated.

• You can change to an earlier start slotin advance via the change link in the registration confirmation itself, as long as the start slot is available .
• It is always possible to start in a later starting slot than allocated. You do not need to register in advance.
• Would you like to run together with someone who is not allocated the same starting slot? This is possible if the person who is assigned to the earlier start slot moves to the back of the colleague's start slot.
