Wear a clearly visible race number

The time is measured using a chip integrated into the start number. The net running time (actual time run from start to finish line) is counted and published. The start numbers must be worn unfolded and clearly visible on the chest.

Pass on start number

The transfer of the start number is only permitted if an official start number transfer is made and the new person is registered with this number. It is not possible to run with a different race number without transferring it.

Why can't I simply give my race number to someone else?

  • In the event of a (medical) emergency, the wrong contact persons will be informed or the wrong medical file will be consulted.
  • The new person runs in the wrong age or even gender category.
  • The ranking list is manipulated based on the wrong people.
  • Runners are cheated out of their place (up to the category podium).

Consequences of passing on a start number without authorisation

  • The original and the new person will be disqualified immediately and deleted from the ranking list.
  • Both persons will be excluded from further events.
  • The organiser may impose further consequences in accordance with the offence.
