In connection with the SwissCityMarathon - Lucerne we offer numerous training opportunities with partners. Good preparation is the basic for a successful run. Below you will find an overview of our own offers and those of our partners.
Official Sunday Training
The Sunday training session of the SwissCityMarathon - Lucerne has a long tradition and is very popular year after year! At Sunday 19 September there will be the opportunity to run the original course (distance: half marathon) of the SwissCityMarathon together with our pacemakers, starting at 06.30 in the morning in front of the Swiss Museum of Transport.
RunningLadies – Training for women only
From the beginning of May to the end of September, running training for women "RunningLadies" takes place every Monday morning. The training programme includes 15 guided trainings with experienced instructors, a running-shirt and a 10KM starting place at the SwissCityMarathon.
Luzerner Kantonsspital - Preparation course
Running is a complex sport for which targeted preparation of the musculoskeletal system is indispensable. The sports medicine department of the Luzerner Kantonsspital offers various training options in this context so that you as a runner are optimally prepared.
Running.COACH Coaching Corner
running.COACH offers you an extensive training plan to prepare you specifically for the SwissCityMarathon - Lucerne. The "Coaching Center" offers numerous tips so that you can improve your running training.
Strength training course for athletes
Strength training for athletes is very important for a clean and economical sequence of movements as well as for the avoidance of overloading the postural and locomotor system. Therefore the training centre MTC Pieter Keulen AG in Emmenbrücke and Hochdorf offers great possibilities for training!
