We want to offer you an exclusive opportunity to win a spot in the sold-out half marathon and marathon categories. We have prepared something special for you:
From August 23 to September 1, our first challenge takes place at Rotsee in Lucerne. On our permanently installed RUN365 timing track around Rotsee, running enthusiasts can measure their time on the 6.5 km course 365 days a year and compare themselves with other participants. Since everyone runs the exact same course, direct comparisons are possible. Run the course at least once within the given period, and you will automatically be entered into the draw at the end of the challenge! Participation is very simple: you can either scan the QR code at the timing station at the start and finish (free of charge) or become a member of the RunLucerne Club and run with your personal timing chip.
The second challenge can be done from anywhere: To participate in the viRace Qualifying 10K, simply download the viRace app, register for the SwissCityMarathon-Qualifying, and run within the period from September 6, 2024, to September 15, 2024. It's all free and a lot of fun! At the end of the challenge, a leaderboard will be created with participants from all over the world – all having completed 10 km on their favorite route. We will also draw 10 lucky winners from this challenge.
The last chance to get a spot is on our new RUN365 track in Horw. Along the idyllic Horw peninsula, we have a permanently installed 6.3 km timing track. The course is part of the official SwissCityMarathon route! Participation works the same way as in the first RUN365 challenge: complete the course with a timing chip (for RunLucerne members) or scan the QR code at the start and finish with your phone – and you are part of the draw!
After each challenge, 10 participants will be drawn to secure a start spot.
