Over 4,700 runners took part in the SwissCityMarathon - Lucerne 2019 survey! Thank you very much for your feedback.

We do not want to hide the statistics and evaluations of the survey from you.

The SwissCityMarathon was scored extremly positiv with 5.69 overall score. The rating of the course is even higher with a score of 5.74. The highest rating for a specific criteria was awarded to the track safety with a score of 5.71. Not only the organizers, but also the numerous volunteers on the track, who are responsible for this result, are happy about this.

Free Travel with the Swiss Runners Ticket is a popular option
In the area of travel, we can record a new record: 70.2 % of the participants travelled by public transport (i.e. bus, train and ship). Many runners from the city of Lucerne also came to the start by bicycle or on foot.

The offer of the Swiss Runners Ticket (free travel by public transport from all over Switzerland) was given a mark of 5.74 by the survey participants and is therefore highly appreciated. We are also pleased to announce that the Swiss Runners Ticket is also secured for the years 2020 - 2022 at the SwissCityMarathon and that free travel by public transport for participants is possible.

Optimisations for 2020 will follow
But we also want to constantly improve and further develop our event. In the finish area, at the start and the cloakrooms, optimisations are possible, which we will certainly include in the planning for the upcoming event. We would also like to further improve our event in terms of sustainable event management.

Many runners intend to come back to Lucerne again
96.4% of participants in 2019 would recommend SwissCityMarathon - Lucerne to their friends and running colleagues. 66% intend to be on the starting line in Lucerne again next year.
